This specimen was lot 2275 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $119. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Muhammad V, 1909-1918, AR 2 kurush, AH1327 year 7, KM-770, "el Ghazi" to right of toughra, lustrous, NGC graded MS63." This type, the second of the reign, was struck years 7-9.

Recorded mintage: 17,000, a scarce date.

Specification: 2.41 g, 0.833 fine silver.
