Sincona sale 59, lot 2353
This specimen was lot 2353 in Sincona sale 59 (Zurich, October 2019), where it sold for 2,200 CHF (about US$2,665 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"OSMANISCHES REICH | ´Abd al-´Azîz, 1277-1293 H./1861-1876 AD, 250 Kurush 1277 H./Jahr 7, Qustantînîya. Tughra auf Lorbeerzweigen und Pfeilköchern, Münzstättenangabe und Datum des Regierungsanfangs. Selten. Gutes vorzüglich. Minimal berieben. (Turkey, Abdul Aziz, 1861-76, gold 250 kurush of AH 1277, year 7, Constantinople mint. Rare, Good extremely fine, Slightly polished.)"
This type, acccompanied by gold twenty-five, fifty, hundred and 500 kurush, was struck years 1-9 and is fairly scarce.

Recorded mintage: 2,800.
