The specimen shown was lot 667 in Cayon Subastas sale in Madrid, on February 4 2012, where it did not sell. The catalog description [1] noted, "Sevilla. 8 reales. 1736. AP. MBC-. Escasa. (Seville 8 reales, 1736-AP. About very fine. Scarce.)" This type was issued at Seville 1731-1736. All the early eight reales of Spain are rare and expensive.
