This specimen was lot 3392 in Goldberg sale 85 (Los Angeles, June 2015), where it sold for $646. The catalog description[1] noted, "Korea (South). 25,000 Won, 1986. Weight 0.4999 ounce. For the 1988 Olympic games. Folk dancing. Choice Brilliant Proof." This one year type, like many modern commemoratives, trades as a bullion coin.

Recorded mintage: 42,500 uncirculated plus 117,500 proofs.

Specification: 16.81 g, .925 fine gold, 27 mm diameter.
