Sincona sale 68, lot 5386
The first specimen was lot 2926 in Sincona sale 47 (Zurich, May 2018), where it sold for 3,000 CHF (about US$3,600 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND, Schwyz, Schilling 1730, Bäch. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. Vorzüglich. (canton of Schwyz, schilling of 1730. Very rare in this condition, Extremely fine.)"
The second specimen was lot 5386 in Sincona sale 68 (Zurich, October 2020), where it sold for 600 CHF (about US$790 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[2] noted,
"Schilling 1730, Bäch. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. (canton of Schwyz, schilling of 1730, Bach mint. Rare, Good very fine.)"
This rare type was accompanied by a twenty kreuzer.
