Sarawak 1910-H 10 cents
This specimen was lot 4314 in Goldberg sale 85 (Los Angeles, June 2015), where it sold for $88. The catalog description noted, "Sarawak. 10 Cents, 1910-H. Toned. NGC graded AU-55. Ex: Remick Collection." Sarawak, a British colony on the northwest coast of Borneo, was ruled by a dynasty of white rajahs from 1841 to 1946. This type was issued 1900 and 1906-15 from Heaton. It is somewhat scarce even in low grade but expensive in nice condition. It is accompanied by silver five, twenty and fifty cents.
