This specimen was lot 1346 in Stack's Bowers ANA auction (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $1,880. The catalog description[1] noted, "PERU. 8 Escudos, 1796-IJ. Charles IV (1788-1808). NGC AU-55. Ex: Caballero de las Yn[di]as Collection." This coin was minted 1792-1808 and is the most common Peruvian colonial eight escudos.
