Papal States 1655 piastra Dav-4069
Silver piastri are popular with collectors not only for their Catholic associations but also the extraordinarily vivid portraits of the various popes, This one was issued in 1655 after the death of Innocent X (1644-55). It is noted as more available than any of the piastri of Urban VIII or Innocent X.
