PCGS 5393 - 1840-O 25C No Drapery
This type, struck 1838-40 in reasonable quantities, is available in circulated condition. This is the first year the New Orleans mint struck quarters. Stars were added to the obverse in 1838 and the obverse was modified again in 1840.

Specification: 6.68 g, .900 fine silver, .193 troy oz ASW, 24.3 mm diameter, reeded edge, designed by Christian Gobrecht.
