This specimen was lot 72458 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2020), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES. 1/10 Gulden, 1857. Utrecht Mint; privy mark: sword. PCGS MS-62 Gold Shield. A vibrant and iridescently colorful minor, with some flashy brilliance and great eye appeal." This type was struck in the Netherlands for her colony in the East Indies 1854-58 and 1882-85. It is common but the proofs are scarce.

Recorded mintage: 11,000,000 plus proofs.
