This specimen was lot 34090 in Heritage sale 3042 (Long Beach, September 2015), where it sold for $763.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Westfriesland silver Duit 1731 MS63 NGC. With crown above Westfriesland arms on reverse. Presentation pieces produced by the mintmaster on demand." The Westfriesland mint struck copper duits for the East Indies 1729-94 and most dates are cheap. Silver duits are listed for 1731, 1736, 1746 and 1752 and more dates may exist. There were also issues from Holland (KM 70), Utrecht (KM 111.1), Zeeland (KM 152.3) and Gelderland (KM 50.2).
