Shown is an 1853ZS-OM 4 reales, one of a type struck at the Zacatecas mint 1830-70. Assayer OM is recorded for 1830-55. Ten mints (Mexico City, Guanajuato, Zacatecas, Potosi, Oaxaca, Hermosillo, Real del Catorce, Guadalupe y Calvo, Guadalajara and Culiacan) struck this type of which Zacatecas is tied with Guanajuato as the commonest mint. This date is fairly common.
