The first specimen was lot 1105 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 27 (Winter Park, FL, May 2020), where it sold for $416.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Guatemala, 2 reales, 1892, star before date, NGC AU 53. Bold strike, bright white surfaces, minimal marks and high-point wear, second finest in NGC census behind a single AU 58 (no MS known at PCGS either). NGC #4770572-036." The second specimen was lot 1106 in the same sale, where it sold for $654.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Guatemala, 2 reales, 1892, no star, NGC AU details / cleaned.
