This specimen was lot 21160 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $1,920. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 5 Pounds, 2008. PCGS PROOF-69 DEEP CAMEO Secure Holder. Struck in commemoration of Prince Charles' 60th Birthday. Essentially flawless with superb cameo contrast. Unlisted in gold (only copper-nickel and silver) in the Standard Catalog of World Coins."

Recorded mintage: KM 1103 (copper-nickel): 500,000 + proofs: KM 1103a (silver): 10,398 proofs plus an unknown number of gold proofs.

Specification: KM 1103 (copper-nickel), KM 1103a (28.28 g, .925 fine silver, 38.6 mm diameter), gold proof unlisted but typically 39.94 g, .917 fine gold.
