The first specimen was lot 13426 in Ponterio sale 177 (Chicago, August 2013), where it sold for $1,410. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. Graubunden. 10 Batzen, 1825-N. PCGS MS-65. One year type from a mintage of only 2,000 pieces. Gentle multicolored toning on prooflike surfaces. Small hairline crack at 11 o'clock. Old green holder." The second specimen was lot 5244 in Sincona sale 35 (Zurich, October 2016), where it sold for 550 CHF (about US$653 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[2] noted,
"Grisons | Kanton, 10 Batzen 1825. Vorzüglich-FDC. (canton of Grisons, ten batzen of 1825. Extremely fine-uncirculated)"
This rare one-year type was equal to one frank or one quarter thaler.

Recorded mintage: 2,000.

Specification: silver, the second specimen 7.35 g.
