This specimen was lot 1327 in Sincona sale 47 (Zurich, May 2018), where it sold for 500 CHF (about US$600 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"GERMANY, Donauwörth, Stadt, Taler 1548. Titel Karls V. Zinnabschlag mit Kupferstift. FDC. (city of Donauworth, thaler of 1548, struck in the name of Charles V, off metal strike in tin. Uncirculated.)"
Donauworth, now part of Bavaria, was formerly an imperial free city on the Danube.
