This specimen was lot 2723 in Ponterio sale 158 (New York, January 2011), where it did not sell. The catalog description[2] noted, "IRELAND (REPUBLIC). Central Bank of Ireland. 50 Pounds, 1.11.1982. P-74a. A popular modern note which is seen here with the first date for the design and in perfect condition. Gem Uncirculated."
