This specimen was lot 20724 in Heritage sale 3008 (New York, January 2010), where it sold for $3,737.50. The catalog description noted, "George VI Dollar 1948, MS64 PCGS, fully brilliant with exceptionally nice surfaces and light amber patina beginning to emerge in the legends. Rare quality for this ever-popular date."
