British North Borneo is today known as Sabah and is a state of Malaysia. In the nineteenth century, half cents and cents were issued for the colony by the Heaton Mint. This specimen was lot 3871 in Goldberg sale 90 (Los Angeles, January 2016), where it sold for $352.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "British North Borneo. Cent, 1891-H. Wildmen. Very attractive example. PCGS graded MS-64 Red."

Recorded mintage: 3,000,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 9.25 g, bronze, 29.6 mm diameter.
