This specimen was lot 30230 in Heritage sale 3081 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $6,600. The catalog description[1] noted, "Austria, Ferdinand III gold 2 Ducats 1645 AU Details (Cleaned) NGC, Prague mint. A seldom offered multiple Ducat type, boldly impressed by the dies with even highpoint wear in line with the grade. Canary yellow in color with hints of residual luster, lightly cleaned in antiquity but not to significant visual detriment." This type was struck 1641-57 but is expensive like all double ducats of the era.
