Aureo sale 261, lot 292
This specimen was lot 292 in Aureo sale 261 (Barcelona, July 2014), where it sold for €85 (about US$136 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"1727. Felipe V. Cuenca. JJ. 1 real. Rara. MBC+. (Philip V, 1700-46, one real of 1727, Cuenca mint. Rare, very fine or better.)"
This type was issued in Cuenca 1718-19 and 1726-27 for Philip V. The SCWC lists the type as common but this is a scarce date.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 3.38 g, .917 fine silver, .099 troy oz ASW.
