This specimen was lot 3962 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €3,200 (about US$4,134 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''SACHSEN-COBURG-GOTHA Carl Eduard, 1900-1918. 20 Mark 1905. J. 274. Sehr schön.'' ([[Germany]], duchy of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, Charles Edward, 1900-18, twenty mark of 1905, very fine.)"</blockquote> This type is rare and is accompanied by an equally rare ten mark ([[Saxe-Coburg-Gotha 1905-A 10 mark|KM 169]]) and two mark ([[Saxe-Coburg-Gotha 1905-A 2 mark|KM 166]]). The duke abdicated at the end of World War One.
