PCGS 4265 - 1800 half dime LIBEKTY
This type was struck as the Philadelphia mint 1800-05 and supersedes an earlier type with a smaller eagle on the reverse. The earlier type is very rare, this type is only rare. The "LIBEKTY" variety shown here, the result of a defective die, commands a slight premium over the normal obverse.
Recorded mintage: 24,000 (all varieties).
