The Manchurian Provinces were originally three separate entities which included Kirin Province and two others. They were known as the Eastern Provinces in Chinese. The Mongol-speaking portion of this area became part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region after 1949.
The specimen shown is a silver 20 cent coin, dated 'year 33' (1907) of the reign of Kuang-Hsu.
