"Hamburg, Hansestadt, 2 Mark 1902 J. Hamburg. Polierte Platte. FDC. NGC PF 64. (free city of Hamburg, two mark of 1902, Hamburg mint. Choice Proof.)"This type is common and was struck 1892-1914. The Hamburg mint is still in operation, striking coins for the Federal Republic of Germany.
