This specimen was lot 2723 in Ponterio sale 158 (New York, January 2011), where it did not sell. The catalog description noted, "IRELAND (REPUBLIC). Central Bank of Ireland. 50 Pounds, 1.11.1982. P-74a. A popular modern note which is seen here with the first date for the design and in perfect condition. Gem Uncirculated."
