The first specimen was lot 20224 in Heritage Auctions sale 3005 (Long Beach, May 2009), where it sold for $373.75. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "Province of Cordoba 1/4 Real ND (1853-54), MS65 NGC, eight pointed sunface, a superb example with sharp details and lightly toned, original mint luster. Very rare in this select quality!"  The province of Cordoba in [[Argentina]] issued an extensive series of silver coins, quarter real thru eight reales, during 1833-54.
