The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "Felipe V gold Cob 2 Escudos 1730(S), XF45 NGC, quite bold for this crude coinage with a clearly visible date (730) in the reverse legend. Additionally, the mintmaster 'S' is somewhat readable to the right of the coat of arms as is a tiny portion of the mintmark. Rarely available with such a clear date." This type was issued from Bogotá 1717-46.
