This specimen was lot 2329 in Sincona sale 11 (Zurich, May 2013), where it sold for 400 CHF (about US$495 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR/ÖSTERREICH Rudolf II. 1576-1612. Taler 1593, Kuttenberg. Lt. Doppelschlag. Gutes sehr schön. (Austria, Rudolf II, 1576-1612, thaler of 1593, Kuttenberg mint. Lightly double struck, good very fine.)"This particular type is a product of the Kuttenberg mint for 1578-1600. Davenport lists over 130 different thalers for Austria in the sixteenth century.
