This specimen was lot 2696 in Sincona sale 6 (Zurich, May 2012), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Sammlung Dr. Charles Froidevaux Zürich Taler 1707. Nach links schreitender Löwe auf einem Kassettenboden mit Wappen und Schwert. Rv. Spruch mit Jahreszahl in einem Kranz aus Lorbeer- und Palmzweigen. Zackenrand. Selten. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Switzerland, canton of Zurich, thaler of 1707. Obverse: A lion rampant left, brandishing sword and spear; reverse: inscription with date, laurel and palm branches around. Rare, very fine to extremely fine.)"
