This specimen was lot 3391 in Sincona sale 6 (Zurich, May 2012), where it sold for 3200 CHF (about US$3,938 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Zürich Stadt Taler 1512. Gekröntes Reichswappen über zwei Zürcher Schilden, flankiert von zwei Löwen. Das Ganze in einem Kreis aus 16 Vogteiwappen. Rv. Die drei Zürcher Stadtheiligen, die Köpfe in den Händen haltend. Gutes sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Zurich, thaler of 1512. Obverse: arms of Zurich, supported by two lions, above two shields, sixteen neighborhood shields around; reverse: three saints hold their heads in their hands. Good very fine.)"
