Sincona sale 26, lot 3538
This specimen was lot 3538 in Sincona sale 26 (Zurich, October 2015), where it sold for 375 CHF (about US$463 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Silberdukat 1792. Gutes vorzüglich. (province of Zeeland, silver ducat of 1792, good extremely fine.)"
This type was struck throughout the eighteenth century until 1794. The SCWC catalogs this as Dav-4914, which is only correct for the pre-1700 issues. The weak strike on this specimen is common on this series.

Recorded mintage: 2,389,000.

Specification: 28.25 g, .873 fine silver, .792 troy oz ASW, this specimen 27.62 g.
