This specimen was lot 1528 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "ZEELAND: AR ¼ silver ducat, 1776. Lightly hairlined from old wiping, EF to About Unc." Zeeland seems to be the only province which struck this denomination, worth twelve stuivers, in quantity. It is known for 1762-93 along with gold specimens struck for presentation.

Specification: 7.06 g, .873 fine silver, .198 troy oz ASW.
