This specimen was lot 1200 in Jean Elsen price list 259 (Brussels, January-March 2012), where it was offered at € 150. The catalog noted,
"NEDERLAND, ZEELAND, Provincie, AR zilveren dukaat, 1698, Droit: Staande ridder naar radié met zwaard en provinciewapen. Revers: Gekroond Generaliteitswapen. Zwak uitgemunt. Zeer Fraai à Prachtig (Netherlands, province of Zeeland, silver ducat of 1698. Obverse: standing knight with sword holds the provincial arms; reverse: crowned arms. VF - EF)"
This type was struck for Zeeland, a province of the Netherlands, 1672-1794. It is priced fairly low in the SCWC but is seldom seen at American coin shows.
