This specimen was lot 753 in Stacks-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $1,116.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Wurzburg. Taler, 1770-WINMFHP. Adam Friedrich von Seinsheim (1755-79). NGC MS-61. "Rf" below bust. Nice strike. Mild old envelope toning with good underlying luster. From the Rockaway Collection." This type is listed for 1769-73 and is slightly scarcer than the average thaler from this locale.

Recorded mintage: unknown but somewhat scarce.
