Kunker sale 264, lot 3830
This specimen was lot 3830 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €7,000 (about US$9,043 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"WÜRTTEMBERG, SEIT 1806 KÖNIGREICH Friedrich II. (I.), 1797-1806-1816. Friedrichs d'or 1810. GOLD. RR Min. justiert, vorzüglich. (kingdom of Wurttemberg, Frederick II, 1797-1816, frederick d'or of 1810. Rare, adjustment marks, extremely fine.)"
This was the only gold issue not a ducat prior to unification.
