This specimen was lot 4800 in Sincona sale 9 (Zurich, October 2012), where it sold for 650 CHF (about US$822 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NIEDERLANDE Westfriesland Dukat 1652. Zainende. Vorzüglich. (Westfriesland, ducat of 1652, clipped, extremely fine.)"
Friedberg lists this type for 1607-83.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 3.49 g, .986 fine gold, .112 troy oz AGW, this specimen 3.43 g.
