Sincona sale 57, lot 2752
This specimen was lot 2752 in Sincona sale 57 (Zurich, May 2019), where it sold for 1,100 CHF (about US$1,309 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Waldeck-Pyrmont, Fürstentum, Georg Victor, 1845-1893. 2 Vereinstaler 1856 A, Berlin. Vorzüglich. (Germany, principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont, George Victor, 1845-93, double union thaler of 1856, Berlin mint. Extremely fine.)"
This bust was also used on a single thaler of 1859 (KM 135).

Recorded mintage: 11,000.
