This specimen was lot 3099 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $1,410. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Venice. 2 Zecchini, ND (ca. 1779-80)-RB. Paolo Renier (1779-89). NGC EF Details--Plugged. RARE. Struck with 1/4 Ducato dies. Plugged at 12 o'clock, most likely from a brief period when it was worn as a necklace or pendant. Nicely struck with full legends, and expertly repaired."
