I am a late entrant to the study of money. For a long I considered it only as a medium of exchange.
Only now am I realizing its value as the story of our country.
Please allow me to recommend Jason Goodwin's book Greenback: The Almighty Dollar and the Invention of America, a excellent and interesting history of the United States.

Dear Sir-- We are eager to have someone work on and expand our virtually non-existent currency section. The only thing I have written is National Bank Notes of Orange County, California. The key thing is good images. You can upload large images and then use the "|thumb|500px" to manage the display size. Meontko 02:28, 6 July 2012 (UTC)

Dear Sir-- I got your note about notes. If you upload pictures you took yourself, you are donating the pictures to CoinFacts Wiki and you can give as much or as little background information as you please. If you borrow pictures from Heritage and Stacks (and they have incredible pictures, I just don't have time to get them for you), then you MUST give credit. 'Tis only fair.
