This specimen was lot 23199 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Tuscany. Quattrino, 1835. NGC MS-64 BN. Listed as common in Montenegro, however rarely appearing in the auction market. This example, with its nearly flawless charcoal toned surfaces, is easily the finest we have seen for the date and type." This type was struck 1827-43 and is not listed as rare. Forty quattrini = one paolo, ten paolo = one francescone.
