Sincona sale 18, lot 3951
This specimen was lot 3951 in Sincona sale 18 (Zurich, May 2014), where it sold for CHF 1,200 (about US$1,581 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"5000 Baht 1974. WWF. FDC. (Thailand, five thousand baht of 1974, uncirculated.)"
This NCLT (non-circulating legal tender) coin promotes wildlife conservation and the World Wildlife Fund. It was sold in sets with a silver fifty baht (KM Y102) and hundred baht (KM Y103).

Recorded mintage: 2,602 plus 623 proofs.

Specification: 33.43 g, .900 fine gold, this specimen 33.57 g.
