Straits Settlements 1908 cent
This specimen was lot 3142 in Goldberg sale 103 (Los Angeles, February 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description noted, "Straits Settlements. Cent, 1908. Edward VII. Traces of red mint luster. NGC graded MS-62 Brown."The type was struck in 1903-08 after the Straits Settlements were made a separate crown colony and is scarce in nice condition despite the large mintage. This is the most common date.
