This specimen was lot 953 in Jean Elsen sale 118 (Brussels, September 2013), where it sold for €480 (about US$757 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"STAVELOT, Abbaye, Christophe de Manderscheid (1546-1576), AR rixdaler, 1569, Poulseur. Au titre de Maximilien II. Droit: Ecu de l'abbé sous un heaume. Revers: B. cour. et cuirassé de l'empereur à droite, tenant un sceptre et le globe crucigère. Très Beau. (abbey of Stavelot, Christopher of Mandersheid (1546-76), silver rixdaler of 1569, Poulseur mint, in the name of Maximilian II. Obverse: arms of the abbot below a helmet. reverse: crowned and armored bust of the emperor to right, bearing an orb and scepter. Very fine.)"
