This specimen was lot 2527 in Sincona sale 6 (Zurich, May 2012), where it sold for 1600 CHF (about US$1,969 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Sammlung Dr. Charles Froidevaux St. Gallen, Stadt Taler 1565. Aufrecht nach links schreitender Bär. Rv. Gekrönter Doppeladler. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. (Switzerland, city of St. Gall, thaler of 1565. Obverse: standing bear faces left; reverse: crowned imerial eagle. Rare, good very fine.)"
Davenport notes this type for 1563-67.
