Shown is a Spanish two reales struck in 1776 at the Madrid mint. Assayer PJ is recorded for the years 1772-1783. This specimen was auctioned by Cayon Subastas in Madrid, Spain, on September 15, 2011, where it hammered for 82 €. The catalog description reads:
"Madrid. 2 reales. 1776. PJ. EBC, restos de brillo original. (1776 2 reales, Madrid mint, extremely fine, some luster remaining)"
