Aureo y Calico sale 232, lot 2292
The specimen shown was lot 2292 in Aureo y Calico sale 232 (Barcelona, March 2011), where it sold for 50 euros (about $81 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"1724. Madrid. A. 2 reales. Escasa. BC+/BC. (Two reales of 1724, Madrid mint. Scarce, Fine to Fine plus.)"
This type was issued in Madrid 1724 only during Louis I's brief reign. The SCWC lists it as scarce.

Specification: 6.77 g, .903 fine silver, .196 troy oz ASW.
