This specimen was lot 34472 in Heritage sale 3042 (Long Beach, September 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Charles II 8 Reales 1697/82-F VF30 NGC. Segovia, (F), mint. Well struck for the grade with all details clearly defined. Quite scarce." This type was issued at Segovia in 1697 only. The aqueduct was the mintmark for the Segovia mint until it closed in the 1840's.

Recorded mintage: unknown but rare.

Specification: 27.47 g, .931 fine silver, .821 troy oz ASW.
