Aureo sale 232, lot 1194
The specimen shown was lot 1194 in Aureo y Calico sale 232 (Barcelona, March 2011), where it sold for 62 euros (about $102 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Felipe IV (1621-1665). 1652. Segovia. BR. 1 real. Escasa. MBC-. (Philip IV, 1621-65, one real of 1652, Segovia mint. scarce, nearly very fine.)
This type was issued intermittently at Segovia 1627-60. The SCWC lists this as a common date.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 3.43 g, .931 fine silver, .102 troy oz ASW.
