This specimen was lot 860 in Jean Elsen sale 137 (Brussels, June 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"ESPAGNE, Royaume, Ferdinand et Isabelle (1474-1504), AR real, à partir de 1497, Burgos. Différent: hermine. D/ Ecu royal couronné. R/ Faisceau de six flèches attaché à un joug. En dessous, B. Très Beau. (kingdom of Spain, Ferdinand and Isabella, 1474-1504, undated silver real, after 1497, Burgos mint, ermine privy mark. Obverse: crowned arms; reverse: bundle of six arrows, "B" below. Very fine.)"
Cayón devotes 133 catalog numbers to the various varieties of this type, struck at seven mints: Burgos, nos. 2618-2631, Coruña, nos. 2632-2639, Cuenca, nos. 2640-2653, Granada, nos. 2654-2674, Segovia, nos. 2675-2693, Seville, nos. 2696-2726, Toledo nos. 2731-2750. There are also 2, 4 and 8 reales with this design.
